Microbiology Brush

Horizons International Corp microbiology brushes is housed in a clear Teflon catheter within another opaque Teflon catheter. A non-toxic, water-soluble wax-like plug seals the end of the outer catheter. After insertion, the plug is expelled into the lung where it quickly and safely dissolves. The captivated brush can pass through contaminated areas in order to obtain sterile specimens.
